Dr. James R. Bashaw has practiced general dentistry in his Cedar Fairmount office for over 30 years. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Brown University, he came to Cleveland, Ohio to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. In May 1975 he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, and was graduated from CWRU Dental School. He opened his dental practice in the fall of that year.

Dr. Bashaw is a member of the Cleveland Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, and the American Dental Association (the American Dental Association web site contains patient/consumer information that may be of interest to you.) He practices general dentistry consisting of restorative and cosmetic procedures, and partial and full denture fabrication. He refers those patients who require extractions/oral surgery or root canal treatment to specialists.

Dr. Bashaw values his patients' time and he appreciates their busy schedules. He endeavors to see his patients promptly at the time of their appointment and to complete their treatment within their scheduled time. Arriving at the office at or before the time of your appointment is imperative and enables you to receive the full time reserved for your treatment.

Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 AM until 5 PM, and on alternating Fridays from 8 AM until 12 Noon. Patients may call for an appointment during business hours or leave a detailed message on the office voice mail system after hours. You may be switched to the voice mail system during office hours if all phone lines are occupied. When canceling your appointment, you must call the office at least 24 hours before your scheduled time to avoid a broken appointment fee. No fee will be charged if another patient can be scheduled to fill your time.

You may also contact the office by e-mail at bashawdds@yahoo.com. The office welcomes new patients and especially appreciates the referral of patients to the office by our existing patients.
